 ABOUT US

ND's are looking forward to the 2018/19 Women's competition at our home grounds that utilise the turf facilities at Mark Taylor (formerly Waitara), Asquith and Storey Park Ovals.

The Club has grown since the Hornsby Kuring-gai and Hills District Cricket Association (HK&HDCA) first entered teams in the SCAWC back in 1997/98 before the transitioning to the Northern District Cricket Club (NDCC) on 5th July 2005. Over the seasons, the club has been awarded the SCAWC "Spirit of Cricket" award three times, which reflects of the way our players continue to play their cricket. Our players continue to attain representative honours each season and have won a number of individual SCAWC awards over the years, including English International Holly Colvin who won the 1st Grade's Player of the Year for 2008/09.

NDCC caters for players interested in playing competitive grade cricket at a senior level or as a stepping stone to a representative career at junior or senior levels with CricketNSW. Players are welcome to join based of their experience and cricketing skills. We also support girl's cricket via both the Breakers Junior Cricket League and HK&HDCA competitions as well as being a conduit for Central Coast, Hunter region and North Coast players to provide girls with a clear pathway in the development of their game.

The Club has qualified coaches and holds regular and specialised training sessions on the turf facilities at Mark Taylor Oval (formerly Waitara Oval) during the season, on Wednesday afternoons until dusk. Also the Club runs training clinics at Mark Taylor Oval during the summer school holidays. The players are supported by a Women's Sub-committee, which meets on a regular basis, and Women's News and Events entries can be followed on their Facebook Group HERE.

For any players interested in knowing more about NDCC Women's Cricket or if you are simply interested in playing Women's Cricket in season 2018/19, please contact Tracey Bates on mobile: 0408 023 241 or email:
