WOMEN'S RESULTS - SUNDAY, 24TH MARCH
BLUE lost their semi-final versus Bankstown at Grahame Thomas Oval on Sunday, 24th March where Bankstown won the toss and batted. Bankstown amassed the big total of 7/197 from their 40 overs. Wickets were shared around with 6 bowlers taking a wicket each.
In reply, the Rangers struggled with the bat and were all out for 99 from 35.4 overs. Top scorers were Elizabeth Coper-Jones with 25 and Milah Riley's 21.
Well done to both our Rangers' teams and officials this season, with the performances setting up the groundwork for successful future seasons.
This ground-breaking competition finished on Sunday, 24th March, and as above a terrific effort by all the new players and officials, which sets a strong foundation for next season's Brewer Shield and beyond.
BLUE (6/141) defeated Sydney (64) at Birchgrove Oval. Kate Mctaggart top scored with 30*.
GOLD (69) lost to Universities (78) in a tight match at Storey Park with Olivia McKeon taking 4/11.
Congratulations on winning the Second Grade Grand Final from all at NDs. The match was washed out with Northern District declared the champions due to finishing as minor premiers.
