GREEN SHIELD INTO THE SEMIS

The Greenies won a hard fought battle against the St. George Club at MTO in the preliminary final on Tuesday, 22nd January.

The Rangers won the toss and asked St. George to bat on a tough pitch. After 45.1 overs, the visitors were all out for 113. Chief wicket takers were: Varun Ravindran (4/23); Lachlan Soles (3/11) and Ryan Brooks (2/20).

Low totals to chase can be a challenge, and the Rangers were 4/46 at one stage, when opener, Will Coffey consolidated the innings with an unbeaten 51, with backup from Jordan Fullagar (23). The total (5/114) was achieved after 37.5 overs.

The Semi-Final will be against Campbelltown-Camden at MTO, with play commencing at 10:00am on Thursday, 24th January. Come along and support the future of the Club.
