RANGERS ALUMNI – JARRED HODGES

Former ND’s player, Jarred Hodges is changing the way we speak about Indigenous Australians, through rugby.

CLICK HERE to read how Jarred swapped the term "Indigenous" for "First Nations" in a talent-spotting rugby sevens program, and the great response.

Jarred says "First Nations" recognises Aboriginal people as the sovereign people of our land, while "Indigenous" is really linked to the White Australia policy.

COACHES' ASSOCIATION - CRICKET CLINICS - JANUARY 2020 SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

The Coaches' Association has scheduled three school holiday junior cricket clinics in January 2020, in partnership with Northern District Cricket Club.

The venues are Mark Taylor Oval, Waitara (2 clinics) and Normanhurst Oval.

The Coaches' Association is an outstanding not-for-profit sporting association that was established in 2010 and is affiliated with Hornsby Ku-ring-gai & Hills District Cricket Association.

It is led by Rod Hokin, a Cricket Australia High Performance (Level 3) accredited Head Coach, and Bruce Wood, HKHDCCA President.

During the past decade, they have conducted over 50 successful school holiday cricket clinics for boys and girls aged from 6 - 14 years covering all standards from beginners through to experienced representative players.

Nearly all the participants are junior players with HK&HDCA-affiliated clubs, as well as some beginners. The Coaches' Association's fee structure is heavily subsidised and they always receive excellent feedback from the players and their parents.

Registrations are now open - to see the flyer CLICK HERE.
