Stella's recent impressive form for the Breakers saw her named in a 15-player Australia ‘A’ squad to face England ‘A’ across three T20s and three 50-over fixtures which will run concurrently with the Ashes from 20 January to 2 February 2022. Everyone at NDs wishes Stella every success against the old enemy.

Next up for Lauren Smith and Stella Campbell and their fellow WNCL NSW Breakers is not until 15 February 2022, when the Breakers clash with the Tasmanian Tigers at North Sydney Oval.

The Female Under 16 ACT/Country NSW pathway squad has been named, and the team will travel to Albury to play matches against the NSW and Victorian Metropolitan squads as well as the Victoria Country squad from January 24 - 27, 2022.

Huge congratulations to the following Rangers, not only representing NDs but their regions:

Tara French - Central Coast

Kate McTaggart - Newcastle

Sophie Parsons - Northern Inland

Ava Ryan - North Coastal

Eliza Thompson - Central Coast

Congratulations to Piper Hooke (Wiradjuri) selected in the Sydney Thunder women’s team for the Cricket NSW Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander T20 Cup originally to be held on Wiradjuri land in Albury Wodonga from January 11 – 14, 2022.

Following consultation with event stakeholders and Cricket Victoria, Cricket NSW (CNSW) has made the difficult decision to postpone the T20 Cup due to Covid, and a new date for the event will be announced in due course.
