COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

At Northern District Cricket Club, we believe that cricket is for everyone, and we are deeply committed to fostering a sense of community through the sport. Our club actively engages with diverse groups to ensure that cricket remains accessible, enjoyable, and inclusive for all. Our club is not just a place to play—it’s a hub where players, families, supporters, and local businesses come together to create lasting bonds and shared memories.

Blowfly Cricket

Blowfly Cricket is a program designed specifically for players with disabilities, offering them the chance to participate in cricket in a supportive and fun environment. Northern District is proud to support Blowfly Cricket, helping to provide these players with opportunities to enjoy the game, develop their skills, and be part of the broader cricket community.

Women's Social Cricket

In addition to our competitive women’s teams, we offer Women’s Social Cricket to encourage participation at all levels. This initiative is perfect for women who are new to the game or returning after time away, providing a relaxed, friendly environment where everyone can enjoy playing cricket regardless of skill level.

Schools Cup & Junior Pathways

We actively engage with our local schools and junior cricket associations, offering opportunities for young cricketers to develop their skills and passion for the game. Through initiatives like the Schools Cup and our Junior Pathway Programs, we ensure that cricket remains accessible and enjoyable for all, nurturing the next generation of talent.
