MEN'S CRICKET

The Northern District Cricket Club competes in the NSW Mens Premier Cricket competition run by the Sydney Cricket Association. The NSW Mens Premier Cricket competition is the premier grade cricket competition in the country and arguably the world. It is the competition from which the NSW cricket team is selected and is renowned for producing the highest percentage Australian cricketers in the country.

Northern District consistently fields strong teams across all grades, from First to Fifth Grade, as well as in the AW Green Shield (Under 16) and Poidevin-Gray Shield (Under 21) competitions. We have a reputation for nurturing local talent into first class and test cricketers. Some of our most famous names include former Australian captain Mark Taylor AO, current Australian spinner Nathan Lyon and others including Brad Haddin and Peter Taylor.
