COLLECTION OF THE CENTENARY BOOK

On 7th Mar 2026 we will be launching Blue Gum & Willow, A History of the Northern District Cricket Club, 1925-2025. Plus the Centenary Book of Records & Statistics
The Centenary edition of Blue Gum & Willow builds on the 75th edition released in 2001, authored by Alistair Kennedy. The Centenary edition has been jointly authored by Life Members Jim Barrett and Mike Langford with support from Alistair Kennedy.
This book is the official chronicle of our great Club and is an important record of the Club’s achievements over the past 100 years. It extends to over 450 pages. Accompanying the official history will be a second volume of over 250 pages detailing Club records and statistics, that will be available as a pdf file … Guaranteed to cure all varieties of insomnia!
If you or a family member or a friend played for NDCC you will find their playing records here. Life Member Hilary Griffith has played an important role in compiling the statistical record of the Club and its players.
The Centenary edition includes important new stories and articles, premiership and Club Championship photos and of course the story of women’s cricket at NDCC.
The Club is now accepting pre-orders for the Club history, available in two formats:
The softcover version will be accompanied by a QR code to access the records and statistics volume. It will be available for $90. Mailing cost of $20 unless collecting on 7th Mar.
The Collector’s Edition will include a hardcover version of the history together with a USB stick in a commemorative case that will include the records and statistics volume, together with the Centenary video collection as screened at the Centenary dinner. It will be available for $250. Mailing cost is $20 unless collecting on 7th Mar.
