About the Event

Northern District Cricket Club invites female cricketers aged 12+ who are interested in playing Sydney Premier Cricket to attend our Female Cricket Open Day. This is an opportunity to experience what it’s like to be part of the NDCC women’s program and train alongside current club players.


What to Expect

  • Train with current Northern District female players

  • Access to turf practice wickets and our award-winning indoor training centre

  • Learn about the club’s off-season academy programs

  • Speak with coaches about pathways into Premier Cricket

  • Gain insight into the Northern District women’s program and club culture


Enjoy a fun and welcoming afternoon of cricket at an outstanding facility with other female cricketers.

Northern District’s women’s program includes players with experience at state, national and international level, including:

  • Caoimhe Bray – Australia U19s, Sydney Sixers, NSW Breakers

  • Rebecca Tyson – Hertfordshire (UK), London Spirit (The Hundred)

  • Sienna Eve – Sydney Thunder, NSW Breakers

  • Tara French – Sydney Thunder, NSW Breakers

  • Ava Drury – Australia U19s, NSW U19s

  • Kate McTaggart – NSW U19 Captain

  • Sophie Clune – NSW U19s

  • Emily Humphreys – NSW U19s
