Mark Taylor Oval Pavilion

A wonderful new perspective on the Mark Taylor Oval Pavilion, beautifully captured by acclaimed architectural photographer Peter Bennetts.

Now officially open, the pavilion represents an important new chapter for Northern District Cricket Club and the wider Hornsby community. The project brings together the character of the original 1929 grandstand with modern, accessible and inclusive facilities designed to support women’s and men’s cricket, all-abilities participants, officials, spectators and the broader community.

It was also a pleasure to recently welcome the architecture awards jury to Mark Taylor Oval and share the story behind this significant project.

Bringing the pavilion to life has been a genuinely collaborative effort, built on many years of planning, advocacy and hard work. We are incredibly proud of the result and grateful to everyone who contributed along the way.

Thank you to Archer Office for sharing this beautiful collection of images with the Club.
